Reynolds Forest

You can take a short walk at Reynolds Forest, just over half a mile, and have a lovely experience. The 35-acre preserve offers a floodplain, pasture, and the Goff Brook falls. The great Kennebec Land Trust protects this land, and beautifully describes the falls: “foaming water roar[s] over exposed rocks into stone-lined pools.” Directions: From Augusta
