• Garcelon Bog This is a wee stroll on a boardwalk. Not really a walk, more like a chance to check out this interesting place and look for birds.
  • Thorncrag Sanctuary  A 6-mile network of trails, with two meadows, pleasant forest paths, and even a giant fireplace. Dogs not allowed.
  • David Rancourt River Preserve — A 14-acre preserve, with two little sand beaches on the Androscoggin River. Close to the Riverside Greenway.
  • Lewiston-Auburn Greenway Trail — About a two-mile loop walk in the cities of Auburn and Lewiston. Quite fun.
  • Mount David A five-minute scramble up a rocky outcropping with nice views.
  • Riverside Greenway — A paved 1.2-mile long pretty trail along the river.
  • McMahon Nature Trail — You can wander about 1.7 miles in this trail network. The best place is on the red trail, at the top of a knoll, where the school has set up several rows of benches.
