This is a nice spot for a roughly 2-mile walk to the shores of a brook and the Mousam River, but it might be boggy and wet, especially in spring and summer. The preserve is the result of a deal between the developer of the nearby housing development and the town.
From the parking area, a 0.6 trail segment brings you to an 0.7-mile loop.
Directions: From Route 4, turn onto Stone Road. The parking area and trail sign will be on your left in approximately 1/2 mile, before you reach Hay Brook Road.
