And access to the rest of the trail system is limited.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the old days, the Ted Wells Memorial trail offered a short walk to a boardwalk, beautiful deck and overlook of the protected salt marsh. But this infrastructure was dismantled after deteriorating. Then, for a while you could follow a forested one-way trail to a view on the marsh and its graceful river. But that appears to be closed now, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a longer walk, you can follow unmarked but easy-to-follow trails around the wastewater facility. There are a couple of nice viewpoints along Goosefare Brook.
