Wing Park, in Norridgewock is not a hiking destination, but it is a nice spot to sit and enjoy nature. It leads to what was once one of the largest known white pine trees in the state. Unfortunately, the tree has lost a few of its major limbs in recent years, but the huge trunk and remaining limbs are still very impressive!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the large parking lot (it is also a park &amp; ride lot of the Kennebec Valley Rail Trail), the trail quickly reaches a viewing platform and a set of stairs leading down to the pine tree.
