At one point along the red trail, which makes a big loop around the eastern end of the houses, the path comes out on a little pond behind a couple of houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the neighborhood has sidewalks and benches, for those who like to stroll on pavement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trail system is close to the highway, so it can be noisy at times, although I wasn&#8217;t too bothered, as overall it&#8217;s a peaceful spot and a lovely amenity to have in your backyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong> (From Falmouth Land Trust) From I-95 take exit 53 and turn left onto Gray Rd (Rte 100\/26). Turn right at the first traffic light onto Leighton Rd. Continue one-half mile and turn right onto Falmouth Rd. In two miles turn left to stay on Falmouth Rd. Continue one-half mile and turn left onto Ridgewood Rd. Continue on Ridgewood Rd for four-tenths of a mile and turn left onto Applewood Lane.
