At one point the path edges a meadow. Despite the boardwalks, you might occasionally hit a muddy patch. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kporttrust.org\/land-and-trails\">Kennebunkport Land Trust preserve<\/a> also includes a firebreak dug in 1947, a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Great_Fires_of_1947\">year<\/a> of terrible fires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, the walking is easy and flat, the trail easy to follow. From the public parking lot across the street from the trailhead, it&#8217;s about 0.3 miles to the 0.7-mile loop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions: <\/strong>If you&#8217;re driving, park in the free lot at 30 North Street.
