The 268-acre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccltmaine.org\/rines-forest\">Rines Forest,<\/a> protected by the Chebeague and Cumberland Land Trust, on its own offers a pleasant destination \u2014 a shady, quiet walk in a woodland. The trail intersects with meandering streams and the Saw Mill Brook. There&#8217;s an especially lovely spot by a little waterfall (marked with a red icon on my map), where you can sit on a bench and watch the water stream over the ledge for a while. (Or play in the pools below the falls, as as I saw some kids doing recently.) The trails are mostly wide and flat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions: <\/strong>There are two trailheads with parking off Range Road and a third parking area off Blanchard Road. The main parking area\u2014 with room for about 10 cars \u2014 is the second one on Range Road you&#8217;ll see if you&#8217;re going north.\u00a0 The first one is a pullover on the road shoulder, with room for four or five cars. It&#8217;s is\u00a0about 1.2 miles northwest of the intersection with Winn Road. The Blanchard Road lot has space for about eight cars, and is also a good spot to park for <a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/greely-woods-cumberland\/\">Greely Woods<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__gallery\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__row\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__col\"
