Bean and longtime president of the retail company<\/a> \u2014 is a pleasant place for an easy stroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though it seems to promise wheelchair accessibility, it is not accessible throughout. There are, however, paved paths at the open park-like side of it, on the north side, off Bow Street. And there are short paved trails near the other trailhead off School Street. The rest of the trails aren&#8217;t paved, but they&#8217;re mostly easy except for a steep hill near the north side \u2014 which you can avoid by taking the trail that skirts the hill and brings you through the open grassy section of the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A half-mile loop bring you through forest and around a fairly deep gully. You can pull off and get a snack at Bow Street Market, or extend your walk to <a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/quarry-woods-freeport-need-pics\/\">Quarry Woods<\/a>. The trail linking the two public areas is paved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions: <\/strong>There are two parking areas: one is off Bow Street, on the left right after Bow Street Market if you&#8217;re coming from downtown.
