The snowmobile trail continues beyond <a href=\"https:\/\/rrct.org\/preserves-trails\/old-harris-road-preserve\/\">preserve boundaries<\/a> \u2014 which are all very well marked. The walking is easy, with a fairly long, somewhat steep hill down (and back up again!) to the brook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong> The trailhead is at the beginning of an old road, across the street from Pownal Elementary School and next to Elmwood Cemetery.
