I saw several glossy ibises during my visit.\u00a0Also, at certain times in summer, the mosquitos might bother you, so bring bug spray!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The walk is just about one mile, if you include the overlooks, and fairly easy. Along one section of the northern side of the loop, the path extends along the lip of a former gravel pit \u2014 the depression is quite deep. The southern loop follows a wide, gravel road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong>: The parking for the preserve is not too intuitive. Pull in behind the Blue Point Congregational Church, onto a driveway at 5 Seavey Lane. There is a small parking area next to a private home.
