The trail wraps around the elementary school fields, and takes walkers through what appear to be three forests dominated by different species, so each quarter leg is different than the last. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lamoine-me.gov\/Maps\/Hikingtrails2013.pdf\">town<\/a> says the trail is 1.5 miles long, with views, but we couldn&#8217;t find more to the system than this simple but nice loop. It&#8217;s unmarked but easy to find and follow.
