On a hot day, jump into the cool waters of the lake from the sandy beach! Keep your eye out for the side trails to the pond\u2019s edge \u2014 I missed one. If you can walk this at dusk, the sunsets can be glorious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flat, wide trail is easy \u2014 and ride-able for kids on bikes. You can make a round trip by walking back along the park roads. You may see friendly deer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a small daily fee to access the park. According to the park, trails in the winter are groomed for Nordic skiing, but I have not found that to be the case on a couple of times I\u2019ve visited.
