At about 0.45 miles, you&#8217;ll come to an open ledge with the best vista. If you continue a little ways, you&#8217;ll see the cairn marking the actual 397-foot summit (it&#8217;s wooded), and a little farther along, you&#8217;ll come to a picnic table. The road continues to a camp on private property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong>&nbsp; From the Sullivan side of the Hancock-Sullivan Bridge on Route 1, drive 2.6 miles to the Long Cove rest area on the right. Across from the rest area, there is a pullout for two or so cars.
