There is no obvious way to access the shore, but you can clamber down to it from a few points along the trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The preserve includes 1,800 feet of forested shoreline, according to the trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong> From Route 1, turn left at the lights right before the grand Penobscot Narrows Bridge. Drive 1.4 miles, turn right on Bowden Road, and go 1.1 miles. The preserve sign is small. If you reach Worcester&#8217;s Lobster Bait, you&#8217;ve gone too far \u2014&nbsp;the trailhead is 100 yards back.
