The trail is wooded, and there is a spur to a boat launch. The preserve is off a busy road, so take care pulling in and out of the small parking area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love the land trust&#8217;s evocative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coastalmountains.org\/preserves\/sides-preserve\/\">photos<\/a> of this spot, by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seancarnell.com\/about\/\">Sean Carnell<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions: <\/strong> From Camden, take Route 1 south, then turn right onto Route 90. After 2.5 miles, turn left onto Route 17. Go 1.4 miles, and you&#8217;ll see a small parking area after Maces Pond.
