Or, parts of it. It runs from 261 Harrison Avenue, goes past a dam, and ends at another dam \u2014\u00a0I think the Paper Mill Dam? \u2014 on the Cobboseecontee Stream. It is a good place to see cormorants, herons, and osprey. There are a few picnic tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More info is available on the second page of the Kennebec Land Trust <a href=\"https:\/\/static.squarespace.com\/static\/52f117dae4b0c08037396a20\/t\/52fbfd24e4b060243dd78aea\/1392246052997\/2014TrailMap.pdf\">map<\/a>, where this parcel is called Cobbossee Stream Conservation Area. Like many areas near an urban area, it is not pristine; I saw some litter. But it has charm and it seems like a nice place to picnic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong> From downtown Gardiner, take Route 126 west toward the the Route 95 turnpike. About one mile from downtown, you will cross the New Mills Bridge. Take an immediate right onto Harrison Avenue (you&#8217;ll see a street sign for Andrews Street \u2014 Harrison is to its right).
