No dogs allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/southpoint-sanctuary-biddeford\/\"><strong>Southpoint Sanctuary<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 Across the point from East Point Sanctuary, is this pocket sanctuary with a short boardwalk to the beach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/timber-point-trail-biddeford\/\"><strong>Timber Point Trail<\/strong> <\/a>\u2014 A breathtakingly beautiful place, with a historical estate and an island you can walk to at low tide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/clifford-park-biddeford\/\"><strong>Clifford Park<\/strong> <\/a>\u2014 Holy urban park! This park of&nbsp;about 140 acres has miles of trails.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/biddeford-riverwalk-biddeford\/\">Biddeford-Saco Riverwalk<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 This is a short stroll in the city, around a small section of the river. It&#8217;s dramatic and lovely to walk under the historic mills. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/eastern-trails-off-road-segments-south-portland-to-kennebunk\/\">Eastern Trail<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A great bike path, with lovely off-road sections between South Portland and Kennebunk.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/blandings-park-wildlife-sanctuary-biddeford\/\"><strong>Blandings Park Wildlife Sanctuary<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 225 acres, 3.1 miles of paths in a pleasant wooded area once home to granite quarries and currently home to endangered Blanding&#8217;s turtles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/fletcher-neck-sanctuary-biddeford\/\">Fletcher&#8217;s Neck Sanctuary<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Biddeford Pool Land Trust has created a short but charming trail system through great bird habitat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/une-river-trail-to-freddy-beach-biddeford\/\">UNE river trail to Freddy Beach<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A beautiful 0.5-mile walk along the Saco River that stretches between UNE&#8217;s riverside pavilion and sandy Freddy Beach at the river&#8217;s mouth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/rotary-park\/\">Rotary Park <\/a><\/strong>\u2014 You&#8217;ll find a few short paths at this 72-acre path that you can combine with mowed trails through fields or park roads to make a ~1.2-mile loop around the park&#8217;s perimeter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-7687","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
