A small network at the northern end of the trail system brings you to a small pond.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/spurwink-trail-cape-elizabeth\/\">Spurwink Trail<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A 50-acre preserve that borders the Spurwink Marsh and includes meadows.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/gull-crest-cape-elizabeth\/\"><strong>Gull Crest, Town Center trail, Willow Brook and Pollack Brook Preserve<\/strong><\/a>\u2014 A large preserve with many miles of walking or skiing, through woods, fields, and around wetlands. Fantastic place!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/?p=5356\">Dyer-Hutchinson Farm trails<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A big preserve, with lots of mostly forested trails to explore.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/robinson-woods-and-stonegate-trail-cape-elizabeth\/\">Robinson Woods and Stonegate Trail<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 Lots of protected acres here and miles of walking if you hike in these two connected preserves. Robinson Woods appears to be well used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/hobstone-woods-cape-elizabeth\/\">Hobstone Woods<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 21 acres and about a 1-mile loop in woods.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/two-lights-state-park-cape-elizabeth\/\">Two Lights State Park<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A famous, popular, rather spectacular 41-acre park on the ocean with about 1 mile of easy trails. Be very careful of the surf if you climb down onto the rocks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/crescent-beach-state-park-cape-elizabeth\/\">Crescent Beach State Park<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 Another famous, popular, rather spectacular 100-acre seaside park with a 2.7-mile loop and 1-mile sandy beach. Dogs allowed off-season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/turkey-hill-farm-trail-cape-elizabeth\/\"><strong>Turkey Hill <\/strong><\/a>\u2014 This is a small protected area with unmarked trails, used mostly by neighbors. There are some interesting old military ruins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/highlands-trail-cape-elizabeth\/\">Highlands Trail<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A short but pleasant trail linking Broad Cove to Two Lights Road.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/dyer-woods-cape-elizabeth\/\"><strong>Dyer Woods<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 A sweet &#8220;pocket&#8221; park for local people to enjoy, with well-blazed and well-built trails.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/trundy-point-cape-elizabeth\/\">Trundy Point<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A scruffy, short trail (~.3 miles) takes you around a narrow rocky headland with spectacular ocean views.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/fort-williams-park-cape-elizabeth\/\">Fort Williams Park<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A gorgeous, world-famous, and very popular 90-acre oceanside park, most well-known as the site of the world-famous lighthouse Portland Head Light. The trails here are wheelchair accessible.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/canterbury-trail-cape-elizabeth\/\">Canterbury Trail<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A pleasant trail system through woods and a small marshy area that appears popular with mountain bikers.
