Across Route 9, more trails on a Hayes Forest tract would be more suitable for winter exploration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/old-house-town-park-north-yarmouth\/\"><strong>Old Town House Park<\/strong> <\/a>\u2014 A beautiful 62-acre park with trails along the Royal River and around meadows.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/old-house-town-park-north-yarmouth\/\">Dunn&#8217;s Depot Trail<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Across the street from Old Town House Park is the ~1.4-mile lollipop loop trail that brings walkers along the edge of the river.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/chandler-brook-preserve-north-yarmouth\/\"><strong>Chandler Brook Preserve<\/strong> <\/a>\u2014 Another pretty preserve, 65 acres, this time along a tributary to the Royal River.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/skyline-farm-north-yarmouth\/\"><strong>Skyline Farm<\/strong> <\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/skyline-farm-north-yarmouth\/\">and Water District trails<\/a> \u2014<\/strong> The nonprofit organization offers a couple miles of beautiful public trails and horse-drawn transportation education and recreation (including sleigh rides and carriage rides!). Across Sweetser Road, you can add on a 1-mile loop on town land that protects the local water supply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/memak-preserve-north-yarmouth\/\">M\u00e8mak Preserve<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 46 acres of protected woods that contain a particularly nice old stonewall.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/granite-falls-north-yarmouth\/\"><strong>Granite Falls<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 A short, grassy trail, about 0.2 miles, brings you to a small waterfall that flows over ledge.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/fern-hollow-yarmouth\/\">Fern Hollow<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 \u00c5 quarter-mile trail runs from the end of Cluff Road to a small brook and stone railroad culvert.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/ded%c9%99bonsagk-preserve\/\">D\u00e9d\u0259bonsagk Preserve<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Wander easy, mown trails through a 3.5-acre meadow.
