Both are flat and easy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/st-george-school-trail-st-george\/\"><strong>St. George School Trail <\/strong><\/a>(Les Hyde Memorial Nature Trail) \u2014 A couple of small loops through a pretty forest, with views of an estuary.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/clark-island-preserve-st-george\/\">Clark Island Preserve<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A popular place to visit in the summer because there is a small sandy beach and a quarry pool\u2014both enticing swimming spots. Because of its popularity, it can be hard to find a parking spot here on sunny weekend days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/the-roaring-spout-st-george\/\"><strong>The Roaring Spout<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 A 0.7-mile trail to a stunning spot by the ocean that&#8217;s reachable only by foot or bicycle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/bamford-preserve-st-george\/\">Bamford Preserve<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 An easy 0.3-mile trail takes you to a bucolic open grassy area on the shores of Long Cove.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/meadow-brook-preserve-st-george\/\">Meadow Brook Preserve<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A 0.8-mile loop takes you through forest, over a mossy stream, and alongside the winding Meadow Brook.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/town-forest-trail-st-george\/\">Town Forest Trail<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014&nbsp;A 0.7-mile loop, with a spur to Jones Brook.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/old-woods-farm-preserve\/\">Old Woods Farm Preserve <\/a><\/strong>\u2014 A pretty and relatively easy 2.6-mile trail system through coniferous forest, over lichen-covered ledges, and alongside marshes and streams.
