There are many miles of trails, including a short paved one for wheelchairs.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/town-forest-cumberland\/\">Town Forest<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 This trail through an old pine plantation is about 1.5 miles long. Nice, easy path graded for accessibility.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/?p=3468\">Rines Forest<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 This 216-acre wooded conserve offers a sylvan stream, wide trails and about 3 miles of easy walking. Connects to Hadlock Forest in Falmouth and Farwell Forest\/Knight&#8217;s Pond Preserve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/bruce-hill-cumberland\/\">Knight&#8217;s Pond Preserve<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2014 There&#8217;s nearly 300 acres of public land here, with several miles of trails and some inclines. Knight&#8217;s Pond offers lovely views.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/farwell-forest-cumberland\/\">Farwell Forest<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 This 45-acre wood connects, via snowmobile tracks, Knight&#8217;s Pond Preserve with <a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/rines-forest-cumberland\/\">Rines Forest<\/a> in Falmouth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/cross-town-trail-in-falmouth-cumberland-and-windham\/\"><strong>Cross-town trail<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 A linked network of trails through Windham, Falmouth and Cumberland.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/broad-cove-reserve-cumberland\/\">Broad Cove Reserve<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 The obvious thing to do here is head directly to the beach, but there are also nice trails to explore on this 100-acre reserve. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccltmaine.org\/rock-ridge\/\">Rock Ridge<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Hike a pleasant 1.5-mile forested loop on this 39-acre wooded preserve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/longwoods-preserve-cumberland\/\">LongWoods Preserve<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A short, easy hike through an enchanting outdoor sculpture show set within 54 acres of meadows and woods that buffer the East Branch of the Piscataqua. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-3089","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
