The beach connects to Hinkle Preserve. Note the parking area\u00a0\u2014 it&#8217;s a short walk from the trail head.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/town-beach-isleboro\/\"><strong>Town Beach <\/strong><\/a>\u2014 More a destination (and a gorgeous one, at that) than a walk, there are short trails through the woods to different parts of the rocky shore).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/warren-island-state-park-near-isleboro\/\"><strong>Warren Island State Park<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 The island offers campsites and a 1.5-ish mile walking trail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/hinkle-preserve-islesboro\/\">Hinkle Preserve<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A tiny but lovely walk through ferns to a beach. The beach connects to Hutchins Island and Marsh Preserve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/lily-guest-trail-islesboro\/\">Lily Guest Trail<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 A 1.2-mile loop brings you to a viewing spot over quiet Jones Cove.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/turtle-head-isleboro\/\"><strong>Turtle Head <\/strong><\/a>\u2014 If you only have time to do one walk on Islesboro, I recommend Turtle Head, a narrow point that brings you to a bluff with expansive views of Penobscot Bay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/broad-point-preserve-isleboro\/\"><strong>Broad Point Preserve<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 A 1-mile loop \u00a0through a cedar swamp to the rocky beach on Gilkey Harbor.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.islesboroislandstrust.org\/preserves-trails\/#blueberry-hill-preserve-gardens-orchard-and-trail\">Blueberry Hill Preserve<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 I didn&#8217;t get the chance to hike this, but it sounds beautiful. The Islesboro Islands Trust says the preserve has blueberry fields, apple orchards, and a learning garden, with views of Hutchins Island and Coombs and Parker Coves.
