A moderately easy hike brings you to the top of this roughly 815-foot mountain with a tall fire tower  and its 360-degree views.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/weston-woods-preserve-east-winthrop\/\"><strong>Weston Woods<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 The 55-acre preserve in East Winthrop brings you in roughly half a mile to the reedy banks of the Little Cobbosseecontee Lake. Enjoy the mature forest along the way. There&#8217;s about 1.5 miles of walking here if you do the whole trail system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/roger-guerette-community-trail-winthrop\/\"><strong>Roger Guerette Community Trail<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 A lovely, winding, easy 1-mile loop in the woods on a wide, flat path. Includes a short side trail to a pretty brook.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/cobbosseecontee-lake-island-trails\/\">Cobbosseecontee Lake Island Trails<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 The small islands in the center of the lake have a cumulative 72 protected areas (if I&#8217;m doing my math right!), and about three miles of blazed trails.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-19876","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
