No dogs allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/snowmobile-trails-west-bath\/\">West Bath Snowmobile trails<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Miles of well-marked trails. Pretty woods around the transfer station off Route 1. You can also see Mt. Washington on clear days from the ridge behind the fire station. Unfortunately, there&#8217;s been a lot of harvesting and development activity in parts of the trail system (2018-2019), making the trails hard to find at times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/merritt-island-west-bath\/\">Merritt Island<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 An undeveloped 28-acre island owned by Bowdoin and on the Maine Island Trail. An unblazed but easy-to-follow one-mile path circumvents the island.
