It has short mowed trails, an accessible pier, and a small pebbly beach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/ash-point-preserve-owls-head\/\">Ash Point Preserve<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 With Plaisted Preserve, these two Owls Head preserves are not to be missed. Ash Point includes more than 2,000 feet along beautiful coast, with dramatic views of the Atlantic and nearby islands<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/birch-point-beach-state-park-owls-head\/\">Birch Point Beach State Park<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 Sometimes the best times to walk at Maine&#8217;s state parks, especially the ones with beaches, are during the off-season when the gates are closed and you&#8217;re forced to walk the extra distance in!
