Rocky Point is the nicer of the two.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/sandy-cove-trail-trescott\/\"><strong>Sandy Cove Trail <\/strong><\/a>\u2014 While the beginning of this one-mile trail was a bit overgrown when I visited, the unblazed path through the woods is easy to follow. And the ending of the walk is spectacular.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/bog-brook-preserve-cutler-and-trescott\/\">Bog Brook Cove Preserve<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 You can walk about six miles here, through interesting, varied terrain, with some lovely spots along the coast \u2014 including beaches, coves, and rocky knolls with views \u2014 and to a pond with good bird watching.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/whiting-bay-beach-trescott-township\/\"><strong>Whiting Bay Beach<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 A short trail system allows you to check out two stony beaches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mainebyfoot.com\/race-point-trescott-township\/\"><strong>Race Point \u2014<\/strong><\/a> One of the Cobscook Shores preserves with a longer trail system, the paths take you through fields and to many spots along the shore with great views, including of the reversing falls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-14629","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
